Today, we’re proud to celebrate a major milestone for one of our portfolio ventures, Moove.
Moove has raised $250 million in Series C funding at a $2.1 billion valuation, led by Mubadala Investment Company and co-led by Woven Capital, Toyota’s Growth Fund, and Ion Pacific.
What began in Lagos with 76 vehicles has grown into a global mobility platform operating approximately 42,000 vehicles across 29 cities in 13 countries, with $420 million in ARR.
Now, Moove is taking that operating experience into the next chapter of transportation: building the infrastructure layer that will enable autonomous mobility to operate at scale.
The new capital will support autonomous vehicle fleet ownership, robotics-first depots known as “Nests,” new market launches, and the systems required to charge, service, maintain and orchestrate autonomous fleets around the clock.
For us, this is a powerful example of what can happen when an insight born in Africa is developed into a platform capable of serving a global market.
From solving access to vehicle financing for mobility entrepreneurs in Lagos to helping build the infrastructure for autonomous transportation, Moove’s journey reflects the kind of ambitious, globally relevant ventures we believe Africa can produce.
